History

The future of the company and new projects is improved using the knowledge gained in the past.

Pellikaan Construction began in 1947 as a regional construction company and built houses, schools, and industrial buildings. By expanding internationally into Belgium (1967), Germany (1972) and England (1984), Pellikaan achieved great financial and personnel continuity and security.

In the 1960s, we first delved into the sports industry. Today, around half of our projects are sports-related facilities, with offices, schools, hotels, nurseries, apartments, retirement homes and other industrial buildings completing our portfolio. The realisation of multifunctional facilities constitutes a growing part of our activities, with projects including the combining of libraries, schools and sports facilities.

Operation
Pellikaan began with the operation of tennis centres in 1976; a concept that we have developed further over the years to such an extent that the seventh Pellikaan club is under construction. So now we are able to translate our 30 years of operating experience into appropriate and cost effective architectural and technical solutions.
