Counciller delighted to see progress in West Bromwich

Councillor Paul Moore, the council's cabinet member for health and wellbeing, and West Bromwich East MP Tom Watson visited the site of West Bromwich Leisure Centre last Friday. At the moment, the steel structure is been erected, the concrete floors and pool basins are in, and works have started on the external cladding. The building is really taking shape.

Cllr Paul Moore: "Tom and I were delighted to take a sneak preview of the region's most exciting new leisure pool and see how well work is progressing.

Tom Watson MP said: "The new leisure centre will be another great boost to West Bromwich, alongside the many improvements taking place in the town, including the recently opened New Square development."
