The Sea Life Centre in Speyer, Germany, is situated at a wooded waterside. Visitors can explore the fascinating underwater world of native as well as exotic waters in the large fresh- and saltwater aquarium. The various habitats have been recreated in a detailed and true-to-nature manner in 30 high-quality basins. The aquarium sets new standards in the design and presentation of the water basins. Some 3,000 animals of more then 100 kinds can be seen. Spectacular highlights include an 8 meters long glass tunnel through the five-meter deep Ocean basin.



For the design of the Sea Life Centre, particular attention was given to the choice of environmentally friendly materials and systems. The harmoniously integrated water basins have been designed to enable the animals to feel at home in their real, natural environment.
