'De Paperclip' Sports Centre Utrecht

This local authority sports centre is combined with a health & fitness centre which offers fitness, dance, squash, crèche, multi-purpose room and a sauna. For external sports, for use by Football Club UVV, 16 changing rooms are provided as well as outdoor seating for approx. 450 people.

The sports hall, which is approved by the Dutch Olympic Committee, is 24x44.2x7m. high, offers spectator seating for 200 with ancillary areas such as 4 changing areas, teacher and judges' rooms, car park, meeting rooms, storage and a first aid.

High quality technical installations were provided for fully balanced air treatment system including heat recovery system, high-efficiency lighting and water-saving provisions. Marco van Basten opened this complex.
