Great Dunmow Leisure Centre

The new sports facilities in Great Dunmow are part of the first Leisure PFI Project that involves the provision of dual use facilities on school sites, which rely on public use of the facilities to make the scheme viable. Not only students, but also the 'regular' public can use the facilities of three centres in Uttlesford. Some of the facilities that were built in Great Dunmow are a pool with spectator seating, fitness areas, a sports hall, squash and tennis courts, an aerobics studio and an artificial hockey pitch.
