Hoofdbad Zwolle

Within a tight budget, Pellikaan made the best proposal for the new main swimming pool for the council in Zwolle. The design & build plan was assessed on its design, maintenance and operation. The project will have two 25 meter pools, a leisure pool, a teaching pool and a children’s pool. Our operating experience was invaluable in making this plan.

For this project, a package of sustainable measures has been composed with regard to the saving of energy and water, heat generation and maintenance. These measures include solar panels, high insulation, heat recovery from back wash water and the cooling system, grey water circuit, LED lighting and energy efficient motors on all air handling units.

These measures ensure that this will be the most energy efficient pool that can be realised at this moment.
